More than one mind

We begin with a half-formed thought. We push it around. One of us notices a pattern; the other asks whether the pattern matters. There are wrong turns. There is revision. Occasionally, something neither of us started with appears.

Working with artificial intelligence is becoming part of our creative practice. The images in this first issue were generated for this world. The choices, the objections, the direction: all part of the conversation.

We want to keep that conversation visible. What did we mean? What did we miss? What becomes possible when we stay curious and keep our judgment? These are notes from inside the experiment.
